And we are off again, in just about two weeks from today. It's hard to believe it is this time of year already, as we gear up for the holiday season, tie up our loose ends with work and life at home, and get ready to start packing and planning our winter trip!

This year, our first stop will be the west coast of Ireland for some surf time and sightseeing, then to Amsterdam, perhaps to France, and then off to Italy for a couple of weeks. Then it's back to Amsterdam, from where we fly to Indonesia for about five weeks, where we will travel to a few islands.

Thinking about packing for this trip has already got my head spinning! We are doing our best to have just the right amount planned out, and leave some room for spontaneity as well.

I will do my best to keep this blog updated with places we've stayed and eaten and liked and not liked, and been amazed by.
